What We Do Team Services

More than just a world class GT racing team… With a background of 20 years of top-flight race-winning GT3 experience and engineering excellence, Barwell Motorsport offers customers a range of professional services both on and off the track

Race Preparation

The road to the podium begins in the workshop, with perfect preparation the key. Barwell Motorsport offers a world class competition preparation service, ensuring your car is race-ready from the moment it rolls off the trailer. Services are available for current and classic GT cars, touring cars, and historics. Our preparation services include car maintenance and set-up optimisation, engine and gearbox rebuilds, car restoration, research and development, homologation, driver coaching, logistics and car storage.

GT3 Racing

Boasting one of the most impressive GT3 competition records of any European-based team, Barwell Motorsport offers opportunities for customers to race current GT3 machinery both domestically and internationally. An official partner to Lamborghini Squadra Corse since 2016, the team currently campaigns the Huracan GT3 EVO2 in both the British GT Championship and GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS and has enjoyed numerous Championship Title successes in both series.

Full-season packages are available for suitably qualified ‘FIA Bronze grade’ amateur drivers, ‘FIA Silver/Gold grade’ drivers, and professionals alike, offering arrive-and-drive solutions complete with data analysis, performance management and coaching. We also use cutting-edge Paceteq strategy software, which allows us to perform at the very highest level in Endurance racing.

GT3 Heritage Racing

For 2026 we are expanding into the rapidly growing ‘recent classic’ GT3 racing scene. To mark the 20th anniversary of the GT3 formula, Barwell Motorsport will head back to its GT racing roots with planned campaigns in both the GT3 Legends and new-for-2026 GT3 Revival Series next season. The latter series includes a prestigious race on the bill at the blue-riband Le Mans Classic event in July, thus giving drivers the chance to sample the famous French 24-Hour race track aboard GT3 machinery from 2006-2015. Other venues visited by these series include the fantastic GP circuits of Silverstone and Spa-Francorchamps.

Barwell Motorsport was one of just 16 teams to line up for the first-ever FIA GT3 race in 2006, held at Silverstone that May, and the creation of the new GT3 Heritage division is the latest chapter in the team’s story with the formula. Having been at the forefront of top-flight international GT3 racing over the past 20 years, it is now one of only three teams from that original grid that still remain in modern GT3 competition. Barwell boasts near-unrivalled knowledge of the category and has worked closely alongside manufacturers such as Aston Martin, BMW, Ginetta and Lamborghini. The team offers customers options to drive one of the cars from its GT3 Heritage stable, as well as catering for owner-driver requirements across many marques. We can also advise on car suitability and source cars for those customers looking to purchase and race their own machine.

GT3 Restoration

It’s hard to believe that the GT3 formula is now 20 years old and, with many original models now being given a second lease of life across heritage racing series, restoration and preparation has become vital to preserving and keeping active these pieces of sporting history. Barwell Motorsport’s workshops and in-house engineering excellence can provide such GT3 restoration services, including fabrication and machining capabilities, design services, crack testing, component lifeing, engine and gearbox rebuilding, plus car storage facilities too.

From general restoration work to a complete bare-chassis strip-down and rebuild, Barwell Motorsport’s engineering team can cater for an owner’s every requirement, with all work done from the team’s base just outside London in Surrey. Amongst many others the team recently completed a full reconditioning of the 2009 Spa 24 Hours Total-liveried Aston Martin DBRS9 GT3, and now makes the same service available to owners of any GT cars.

GT Engineering, Car Set Up, Fabrication

Winning know-how can take years to build, but you can get a step ahead of the competition by tapping into Barwell Motorsport’s comprehensive knowledge thanks to its Engineering and Set Up service. The team can assess and refine any GT car to ensure it hits the right performance markers on track. We offer preparation essentials such as chassis and suspension setup using our state-of-the-art Wizard laser alignment system, as well as fabrication and machining services, 3D Printing, and carbon fibre repairs and manufacturing.

Transport & Logistics

Part of the challenge of motor racing is logistical, and having the ability to arrive at any circuit prepared and on-time is vital to starting your event on the front foot. Barwell Motorsport’s team has travelled the world to compete, and boasts a fleet of state-of-the-art and immaculately presented trucks, transporters and trailers, plus a network of highly qualified drivers. The team understands the importance of safeguarding assets during transit and takes every possible precaution when it comes to transporting high value modern and classic racing vehicles.

“Having raced with numerous teams worldwide, Barwell Motorsport are a very professional outfit. Car preparation, knowledge and passion to succeed are reflected in their hard work, appearance and ultimately their great results. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anybody that wants to achieve their goals in GT Racing.”
